Soprano Angela Mannino has performed a wide variety of repertoire from Opera, Concerts and Recitals to Musical Theater and Cabaret. She has sung throughout the United States with regional opera companies and symphonies, including the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago and in Concert at Carnegie Hall. Before her opera career, her love of singing and performing began singing at churches and in community theater in her native city of New Orleans. This passion led to over 20+ years of performances taking her literally all over the map: the Off-Broadway NYC Theater 59E59, the Barns of Wolf Trap’s National Park in Virginia and in a live simulcast performance of Dallas Opera's The Magic Flute at Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Highlights from her diverse career include performing alongside Soprano Renée Fleming in a performance of The Merry Widow, a nomination for Best Actress in a Musical by Gambit Magazine’s Big Easy Entertainment Awards for her performances as Yum Yum in The Mikado and singing the National Anthem for seventy thousand New Orleans Saints football fans! She currently resides in New York City with her husband, daughter and cat.
