New Orleans native, soprano Angela Mannino, made her Metropolitan Opera debut in May 2010 as the 15 Year Old Girl in Berg’s Lulu upon completing two years in Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center.  This past summer as a member of Wolf Trap Opera she sang Fiorilla in Il Turco in Italia and performed in recital with Steven Blier.  This fall she will sing Gilda in Rigoletto with Opera Grand Rapids.

In Angela’s first season at Lyric Opera of Chicago, she sang Blonde in The Abduction from the Seraglio which included a last minute debut on opening night along with an additional performance.   » READ MORE
